Mr. AYENU is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of KASIC GROUP and has more than 20 years of professional experience in the banking sector and has worked as a Senior Executive and Authorized Representative at Citibank in the Washington, DC metro area. He also held senior positions in risk, credit and corporate portfolio management at two other regional American financial institutions, namely PNC Bank and SunTrust Bank (Truist).

In 2014, he returned to Accra, Ghana to create and lead Home Energy Africa, Ltd. (HEA), a renewable energy company that develops IPP (Independent Power Producer) projects mainly in West Africa.


Since the end of 2018, he has co-founded SOLEVA SAS U ( www.soleva.energy ) , a solar kit distribution and sales company in Togo with an aggressive goal of reaching at least 300,000 households by 2025. His company is one of two companies selected under the Off-Grid program called “CIZO” officially launched in 2019 by the Togolese government.

In 2020, he creates with his partners TOGO INDUSTRIES GROUP (TiG) ( www.togoig.com ); which operates mainly in the industrial and agricultural processing sector in Togo.

As International Consultant with expertise on Africa, he has been since 2010 assisting various private businesses and governments promote key & strategic projects throughout Africa and primarily in the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) region. As a Pan-Africanist, his is vision of an emerging African continent is one of his motto that is well alive in his day-to-day commitment to the economic empowerment through various means of the youth, the untapped human capital of Africa.

He holds a Master of Urban Affairs (M.U.A) and a Master of Business Administration in International Business (MBA), both from Wright State University (WSU) in Dayton, Ohio (USA). Charles is a member of the Urban Financial Services Coalition, the National Black MBA Association since 1994 and has been awarded the International Banking Certification from the American Institute of banking. He sits on the boards of several national and regional institutions.
