Jeffrey is a results-driven investment banking professional with over 10 years of experience specializing in Energy Finance & Policy and Environmental Sustainability. A development finance specialist with proven expertise in Project Finance, Financial Modelling, Business Advisory, Clean Energy Finance, Public Private Partnerships (PPP), Clean Energy Finance Product Development and Clean Energy Finance Capacity Building.

Jeffrey worked as an Embedded Transactions Advisor at the Ministry of Energy in Ghana supporting the implementation of the Energy Sector Recovery Programme (ESRP) as well as providing technical and analytical support for transactions and policies options. His role encapsulated expanding supply of and access to affordable and reliable grid-connected electricity services with advancing development. He also undertook financial analysis and simulation analysis to correct the energy (power and gas) sector shortfall as part of the energy sector reforms.

He has also spearheaded technical assistance to commercial banks in Ghana in the area of Clean Energy Finance, Structured Finance for Clean Energy financial products and trained banks in Ghana in the area of PAYGO Systems, Mini – Grid, Roof Top Solar systems as well as the various technologies through U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) funded programs.

Jeffrey’s understanding of the Energy Sector also spans extensively across regulatory framework and policy analysis. He has also undertaken legal due diligence as well as economic and financial analysis. He authored the Ghana Market Assessment Report and has been active in energy conferences.

He is currently pursuing doctorate degree in Development Studies from Institute of Development and Technology Management focusing on Development Finance. He also possesses MSc. Development Finance, B. A. Economics with Mathematics & Diploma in Statistics all from University of Ghana. He has undertaken international consulting assignments in Ghana, Nigeria, Gambia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon & Togo.
